Buy the first Apple Macintosh Plus ever, owned by Gene Roddenberry
Geek explosion! Profiles in History is set to auction off the first Apple Macintosh Plus, serial number 0001, which was given to Star Trek creator Gene Roddenberry by Apple. Man, tell people that George Lucas wrote the first Star Wars draft on this thing and you've got the trifecta.
It'll be auctioned off on October 8th and 9th, and it's got a surprisingly low estimated sale price between $800 and $1,200. That low? Do you guys know that this is a combo of Apple nerdery and Star Trek nerdery? You might want to add a zero to the end of that estimate.
